Powers Schools Plan Christmas Concerts and Local Updates
Powers schools announce a high school Christmas concert at 3 p.m. December 18 in the high school auditorium featuring the band and chorus with new robes. The grade school and junior high concert follows at 8 p.m. December 19 in the high school gym. Local residents move and change jobs, with Neacy Schneider relocating to Myrtle Point, Pat Madewell joining Western Auto Store, and Therman Elam named assistant custodian. The Royal Neighbors plan a December 12 party with a 6:30 potluck and cash gift exchange, and officers to be elected during business hours.
