Canning Company Elects Officers and Amends By-Laws
Better than two-thirds of the subscribed stock of the Myrtle Point Canning Company was represented at the annual stockholders meeting at city hall yesterday afternoon. Officers were read and accepted, with discussion of the cannery’s progress since establishment two years ago. By-law changes were approved to move the annual meeting to January and to empower new directors to lease the cannery if desired. Directors elected: C Carter, E W Jones, El Jenkins, E C Roberts, and E J Michael.
