City Council Adjourns on Sewer Plans and Sidewalk Bids
The city council met in adjourned session last Thursday and the engineer report on the proposed sewer was read and filed. Action on the sewer was deferred for further investigation. The recorder was instructed to advertise for bids to construct a cement walk on the south side of the public square.

Judge Denies Writ Over Myrtle Point Wet Dry Issue
Judge Coke denies the writ of mandamus to compel Coos county to call a special Myrtle Point election on the wet dry issue.
