After nearly a year of talks between the San Francisco exposition group and the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers an agreement enables a dedicated automobile palace. The structure will cost several hundred thousand dollars and span about 210000 square feet four times the size of Chicago’s Coliseum and could hold four or five Madison Square Gardens. No industry has shown an exhibit of such vast scale.
