Fire destroys Ranzier woodshed and storehouse
A lamp explosion in a Henry Ranzier incubator brooder caused a small fire last Friday at about 9 00 p m destroying a woodshed and storehouse across the river from Myrtle Point. Isaac Barklow's timely discovery limited the spread to the residence nearby and the loss is about 100 dollars including eggs canned fruit and household items. The blaze sparked concern as a reflection in the evening sky led Myrtle Point residents to mistake it for city fire.
