State Aid Highway Measure Passed by House
The house approved the state aid highway bill 41 to 12. A highway commission will be formed with the governor secretary of state and state treasurer appointing a highway engineer. Funds come from the automobile fund and a half mill tax, with two thirds to counties and one third to state highways. If counties do not use their allotment it reverts to the state fund for highways.
