Suburban Zoning Board Chairman Joins Cook County Board
John L. Kirkland, longtime Arlington Heights Zoning Board of Appeals chair, was appointed to a 44 year term on the Cook County Zoning Board of Appeals by President Richard B. Ogilvie. The move adds a northwest suburban voice to the board, aligns with growth areas Wheeling Palatine Elk Grove and Schaumburg, and will run through August 20, 1973. Kirkland, a partner in Hinshaw Culbertson Moelmann and Hoban, has served on the Arlington Heights panel since 1961 and chaired it since 1965.
