One Trustee Is a Reader At Mount Prospect Library

A Mount Prospect Public Library source notes only one trustee has a library card. George Reiter is an official reader and Robert Soderman may be. Cards were checked about a year ago. Soderman joined later, current readings unverified. Librarian Mrs. L. E. Hutchings refused comment on a officials list saying it might invade privacy. Catering truck driver charged with assault at Arlington Heights site

Daniel Goodrum of Chicago was charged with assaulting fellow catering driver Mrs. Bobbie Jo Myers at the Arlington Heights Post Office site on 900 W. Euclid. Goodrum and his sister were arrested. Goodrum released on 50 bond and set for Arlington Heights Circuit Court on April 18. Both drivers face a separate charge for lacking a village food vehicle license. Mrs. Judickis was not charged.

Gap Closing Year Reported by Mount Prospect Youth Commission

John Gatto, principal at Central Junior High, reported to the Mount Prospect Village Board on the 1968 69 year of the youth commission.
