Five firms in the Fifth Avenue area have signed contracts to renovate storefront fronts, starting within two weeks. W. J. Wingler & Son will begin soon, Citrus Culture Corp within 10 days, Kennedy Estate interests via Champion will start in 10 days, Lake Pharmacy owners Harlan and Mrs. Burgett will start in two weeks, and David Simpson estate work begins within two weeks. The council sold a Fourth Avenue house for a parking plaza and landscaping funding of 31,500 was approved for two plazas behind stores on Donnelly and the east side structures.
