Social Club plans twenty fifth wedding anniversary
The Social Club announces its twenty fifth wedding anniversary on May 14 inviting sisters and personal friends to celebrate from 7 30 to 8 30. A going away dinner for Mrs Powers and Mrs Boepple is noted. Choir Members Enjoy Evening At Spring Supper
Mount Dora church choir held its annual spring supper amid a brief thunderstorm disruption. After the steak dinner the group returned to Mrs. R. N. White Sr. home for two novel quizzes won by Mrs. A A Tanner and Miss Alice Davis. Dinner favors were New Orleans pralines and toilet water bottles. Miss Martha Treadwell bride elect was honored at a miscellaneous shower hosted by Mrs. Cliff Dumas Mrs. Edward Benwell and Mrs. Edward Avery at Mrs. Cecil Barks home. Spring flowers decorated the room as Michigan rummy and bingo provided entertainment. Prizes went to Mrs. Archie Tucker and Miss Mildred Edwards with low score, and Biles Rose won the bingo prize.
