The Department of the Interior in Ottawa releases a sectional road map series showing main highways between Canada and the United States. The Canadian Government mails large scale maps free of charge and provides booklets on motoring camping fishing and recreation. Applications go to the Natural Resources Intelligence Service in Ottawa Canada.

Carpenter, Dennis, and William Carroll attended the Montverde commencement exercises at Stetson University where a Montverde high graduate served as president of the senior class. O. E. Fulghum of Park spent the weekend with the McQuaig family. Bush, nephew of the Carpenters, visited Montverde and returned to Kentucky for the summer.
