PSC approves FTC exchange proposal for Howey-in-the-Hills
Florida Public Service Commission approves a main exchange at Howey-in-the-Hills to be ready by August 25 1971. Florida Telephone will upgrade facilities at a cost near 75000 and adjust rates for base and outlying zones to reflect the new centralized exchange.
