Members of the Mount Dora BPW Club depicted historical women in a last Thursday fashion show at the Community Building. Cast included Amelia Earhart, Betsy Ross, Clara Barton, Abigail Adams, Dolly Conover, Molly Pitcher, Emma Willard, Mary Van Landingham, Amelia Bloomer, and others with Elaine Martin as the Statue of Liberty. Wallace Cox chaired, Christine Griggs coordinated, Marion Carleton narrated, Kathleen Gandee accompanied, fashions from Sally Dress Shop.
