Jenkins Honored For Service To County Schools

Joe Jenkins recently retired Lake County public instruction superintendent was honored by the Lake County Board of Public Instruction for distinguished service. The board adopted a resolution praising his eight years in county duties while noting his roles as student athlete teacher coach principal educator and administrator. Jack Morgan of Mount Dora succeeded Jenkins as county school superintendent.
