Riley Park Hosts Golden Agers Dinner Celebration
A long awaited Riley Park gathering on Tuesday the 19th hosted 154 for a 6 o'clock dinner. Twenty three Golden Agers were honored while 4 couples could not attend. The event featured golden candle centerpieces and floral accents from local merchants. The Elmores, Mahlers, and several other couples were feted for lengthy marriages totaling 1239 years. A post dinner program included the Florida Precision Drill Team, a Michigan picnic scene, and a Lake County Square Dance Rockets with The Key West Hurricane Orchestra. Additional guests and visiting friends were listed, with birthday celebrations and thanks to organizing committees.
