Council Passes 2nd Reading To Rezone Sylvan Shores Property
Mount Dora Florida council considers rezoning portion of Sylvan Shores after opponents note potential conflicts with existing deed restrictions and the 1961 Special Act. A letter from T. R. Champion argues the city must retain current restrictions and cites legal precedents and annexation procedures. Council members discuss a point of law while City Attorney Roy Christopher sees no legal violation.
