February Activities At Mount Dora Bridge Club
Members gathered in the Mount Dora clubroom for social games including bowling and bridge with plans for the February schedule. The annual Rehbaum Tournament on Feb 1–2 saw many signups, with one third absent due to cold Monday weather. Ted Gottfried hailed for court play by Brevard coach
Mount Dora High School 1964 graduate Ted Gottfried drew praise from Brevard Junior College coach James Oler for his shooting rebounding and defense. Oler noted Gottfried averages 10 points per game totaling 195 in 19 contests and helped the team to an 17 win 2 loss record ranking 11th nationally among about 700 junior colleges.

Final Rites Held for Josephi Webster in Mount Dora
Services were conducted Friday at Rehbaum Chapel for Joseph D. Webster 86 who died Thursday Feb 4. The Rev Kenneth Book officiated. A longtime Conneaut Ohio native and 38 year Pittsburg and Conneaut Dock Co. worker he retired in 1943. He and wife Elsie celebrated their 64th Christmas Day 1964. Survived by wife two sons Leon Kingsville Ohio and Joseph Conneaut two daughters Mable Whiteford Tavares and Leona Burdick Conneaut one sister Mrs Ralph Forester Largo Fla 11 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Rehbaum Funeral Home Mount Dora handled arrangements. Services and interment were held in Conneaut.
