Open Letter Explains Mount Dora Telephone Delays
Otto Wettstein III, president of Florida Telephone Corp, responds to J. E. Fortner about Mount Dora service woes. He cites prewar exchange design, aging equipment, and wartime traffic growth, outlining planned rehabilitations, new circuits, and a toll-board upgrade to improve local and long-distance service. He apologizes for interruptions during installation and promises better service once changes are complete.
