Detroit June 15. William J Cameron for Ford Motor Co says in a radio address that over 33 years the company exchanged 24,500,000 cars for 12,851,336,028 and paid 12,100,321,884 for materials and wages leaving 842,016,144 as profit. He notes 66,000,000 for commitments and taxes reduces to 782,016,144 and argues average profit per car is about 20. He asserts most wealth is in funds not cash and that 4 percent returns go out as money while improvements and public benefits absorb more.
