Buffs Hope Rests On Young and Veteran Pitchers
Houston Buffs open a nine day home stand May 21 led by 20 year old Cloyd Boyer and veteran Johnny Grodzicki. Boyer dominated early Texas League strikeouts while Grodzicki rebuilds after war service and injury.
