Joyce Jean Zimmermann and Rudy Emil Kurtz wed at St. Joseph's Church in Yoakum on May 7. Clergy Rev. Henry Rolf officiated, with Miss Mary Sue Tiller at the organ. The bride, daughter of Emil Anders and the Kurtz parents of Moulton, wore lace satin with pearls and a violets bouquet, attended by bridesmaids in colored gowns and matching hairpieces. About 200 guests attended the reception at Legion Hall with a three tier cake, a Walter Schoenvogel Orchestra, and a grand march by the couple's relatives.
