Funeral Services Held Monday For Emil Zmeskal
Emil J Zmeskal 31 died Friday at Sweetwater hospital after illness. He was born in Hallettsville son of Annie Zmeskal and the late Frank Zmeskal. He married Sadie Hoepfl in 1942 and had six children. Funeral services were held at St Josephs Church with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Survived by wife six children mother and siblings. Pallbearers named.

STEP 193 shows better drought tolerance than Rutgers, with minimal blossom end rot in tests at Ezzell community grower Noah Powers. Many farmers affected by hail are considering grain sorghum as corn stands are ruined. Redbind 60 or Martin's maize varieties are recommended and Hegari will mature though lower yield.
