Ron Grier told the Rathbun Planning Commission that an Attorney General opinion allows four county areas around Rathbun Lake to adopt targeted planning zones within a larger county. Funds for studies are lacking as federal support is unavailable, though some may free up next year. Stanley Engineering will present a preliminary plan for phased development and services, while local boards weigh budget support for orderly growth.
