The Clover Leaf Club gathered on April 21 with Mr and Mrs Dwight Fenton hosting a large group of members and guests. A dinner followed by socializing featured a prize of two boxes of pecans. May 26 picnic at Bridgeview marks next gathering. last meeting until fall. Brownie Troop 927 met April 27 with nine girls and two leaders. They received Brownie Day Camp bulletins for June 14 and planned a fly up for third graders. May basket nut cups were made for senior meals and later games followed.
The North Bend Ladies Aid met at the church Thursday to clean the basement and church. They held a co op dinner after lunch and discussed the wedding with preparations ongoing. The next meeting will include Joyce Phillips and members were asked to bring capsule gifts for the summer months as this is the last meeting until September.

Worship, Sunday School, and men’s breakfast fill the week with Bible study, junior and adult choirs, and midweek prayer. Parish Council meets April 28 at Grace. prospective members May 27 at Grace. May 3 hosts Vacation Church School organizational meeting at Grace.
Rev L B Deedrick leads Romans study on judging others with sermons at 9:30 morning worship and 10:30 Sunday School. Activities include 7 pm Adult Bible Class 7 pm Youth Fellowship and 7 pm Children’s Service. UMW meets Thursday April 29 at 1:30 pm.
Proceedings record several 1976 actions by the Appanoose County Board of Supervisors including bids award to O. M. Wales Construction for remodeling offices, transfer of funds from Trust and Revenue Sharing to General and Secondary Road funds, and appointments to township trustees.
In April 1976 the Appanoose County Board of Supervisors approved transferring a lien on Ruth M. Lester. The lien was recorded in Instrumental Record Book 9, page 134. The transfer involved multiple parcels in Caldwell Township including portions of Section 28 and Section 6, Township 67, Range 17, with reference to Caldwell Township.
April 20, 1975 minutes show approval of April 5, 1976 session records and list of authorized payments from General Fund and various departments. Names include Kermit Strickler, Arthur Streepy, Doyle Anderson, with numerous township clerks trustees and county officials referenced for payrolls, services, and expenses.

Sunday School and Bible study at 10:00, morning service at 11:00, pot luck at noon, choir at 6, youth group at 6:45, evangelistic service at 7:30, missionary meeting May 5, prayer and fasting Thursday at noon, and a community call line 724-3649 for transportation. There is a faith motto about God’s power and love.
Friday gatherings included Rev. Attig Rev. and Mrs. Uhles Mrs. Winnie Du Vall Merritt Strunk and guests Rev. and Mrs. Martin and their sons Mrs. Clyde Miner of Centerville visited aunt Mrs. Mary Meadows.
School lunch rotation lists meals from May 3 to May 7. On May 3 toast cheese, celery carrot sticks, green beans, fruit, milk. May 4 goulash peas bread and butter sandwich lemon fluff milk. May 5 baked potatoes cabbage ground beef sandwich frosted cream milk. May 6 navy beans and ham onion rings lettuce salad cornbread fruit milk. May 7 beef burgers pickles onions catsup mustard corn cake strawberry topping milk.
