Liquor By The Drink Sparks Health and Safety Debate
A letter column railing against liquor by the drink argues alcohol taxes do not justify harm. It cites traffic deaths, drunken driving, and public health risks, urging lawmakers to reject expansion and warning of unsafe consequences for society. It contrasts with calls for revenue and cites state figures on accidents and demographics. The piece also includes parallel notes on local airport value and vacation driving rules.
