In Liberty Indiana Prof Severance Burrage urged replacing reactionary aid with prevention education to curb tuberculosis. He cited orphan asylums jails and poverty as consequences of the disease and urged funding for tuberculosis hospitals and public awareness. He emphasized that prevention rests on proper living habits and widespread knowledge.
Grover Durell and Della Harding of Montezuma obtained marriage licenses in Rockville on Saturday. Sol Hood is back in Rockville and staying at the county boarding house. Long has joined the Regular Army and departs Monday for training camp.
