Mt Vernon Group Plans Anniversary
Mt Vernon congregation of the Zwingli United Church of Christ in New Glarus area marks its 50th anniversary with three Sunday services. The history traces back to 1888 Swiss settlers and a 1912 organized Zwingli Reformed church, with Rev F W Hoernemann and Rev Louis Grossen among leaders. An all day observance includes guest pastors, a roll call of confirmation classes, a memorial program, and meals served by the Women's Guild.
