The temperance anniversary occupied Wednesday afternoon and evening sessions with Rev. A. K. Carhart presiding. Speakers included Rev. C. E. Matteson on ministry and liquor, Rev. T. B. The gathering highlighted Freedman’s Aid work, education in the South, and racial uplift through Methodist efforts, with notes on Dakota University and the conference reports.
