Murder Stirs Boundary Dispute in Huguenot Death
Port Jervis dec 5 a dispute over a boundary line left Amasa Millard of Huguenot dead from a gunshot to the left breast. Charles Krinsky, of Huguenot near Prospect Hull, is jailed on a murder charge claiming self defense as events unfolded on a wood road. Witnesses say Krinsky struck with a tool, then fired as Millard and his men pursued him after an argument over prop for Charles Kilsworth of Wyatusing. Krinsky was arrested with two loaded rifles and a revolver found at his home. He requested counsel after being jailed. Continued on page eight.

Passaic School Reports 200 Pupils Drunk At Desk
Passaic New Jersey December reports to Superintendent Frederick Shepherd by Principal Alma L Smith of School No 2 state that about 200 of 800 pupils aged nine to fourteen drank liquor during two months. Students said liquor could be bought in local saloons or provided at home to “grow up big and strong.”

J Harvey Hanford longtime Unionville resident and carriage t r a c k s m i t h died Wednesday afternoon at 2 45 after eight years illness. Born February 4 1839 he married twice and spent life in Unionville. A Civil War veteran and active church and community member his long service included elder and Sunday school superintendent and frequent writings for the Times Press. He was 79.

Committees reported bills totaling 141.67 for Charities 2545.02 for sheriff 65.50 for town and county expense and 4719.68 for elections. Tax levy resolutions for Newburgh Port Jervis Deerpark and Goshen area were adopted. Claims from A P Aleneier and Frank Patterson were referred for apportionment between Port Jervis Deerpark and related entities. Grand juror distribution to multiple towns and wards was confirmed. Navy to discharge 20 percent of wartime personnel

May Have Been Bad Auto Wreck On North Street
An auto wreck at the corner of North Street and Wickham Avenue near noon today involved a TurmeH & Kinear wood truck driven by Hoy Wilcox. The Middletown Wet Wash Company car approached from Wickham Avenue. Wilcox braked hard and swerved, tipping the truck onto its side. Only fenders and axle were damaged. no injuries were reported.
