Seven adults and one juvenile were arrested after a two hour fight at the Tap Room bar on Oxford State Road. Deputies and local police charged the group with various offenses including disorderly conduct intoxication resisting arrest and falsification. The juvenile was placed in a men’s cell block before being released to his father.

Two Teens Injured in Hit-Skip on First Avenue
Two young women Linda 17 and Joyce Moland 19 of 302 Park St were injured when a van hit a parked car at 1508 Park St around 11 p.m. Friday. Linda was treated and released from Middletown Hospital. Keith D. Neu owner of the parked car reported a man jumped from the van after the collision. Damages were about 1000 dollars to the Neu car and 500 to the van. the vehicle was towed.

Woman cited in two car crash at intersection
A two car crash at Ohio 122 and Ohio 48 yesterday left three people slightly injured. Dorothy Conover 55 of Middletown pulled into the path of Diana Strusbaugh 31 Lebanon. Conover Strusbaugh and passenger Kathy Strusbaugh were taken to Middletown Hospital and treated and released. Conover was charged with failure to yield.
