The IRS announced an agreement with Kroger Co covering how prices are computed and monitored. Kroger, a $3.7 billion annual revenue chain with 1,400 stores in 20 states, will price nonperishables item by item and justify any increases by actual cost. Perishables and meats will be set on aggregate categories under new internal controls aligned with Price Commission regulations.
