Income Tax Repeal Could Hamper River Land Buy Program
Lebanon report cites Little Miami Inc and state officials warning that a Nov 7 vote to repeal the income tax could throttle land acquisition along the Little Miami River. Ray Culter says the Department of Natural Resources may lose staff, slowing or stopping the $2.5 million funding for river preservation projects. William Nye estimates a 25 percent or greater cut in state natural resources programs if the tax is repealed.
