Warren County lands HUD model setup with two year grant
Warren County was chosen as one of five sites for a U S Housing and Urban Development model land recording program funded by a 211389 grant. HUD officials and local leaders described the project as a major shift from manual ledgers toward automated tract indexing rapid recording and 16 mm microfilm cartridges with parcels numbered by section township and range. The initiative will run 18 months for analysis and programming followed by six months of demonstration before full operation.
