Balmy conditions linger for Middletown residents with a low around 52 and a high near 66 under mostly sunny skies. The National Weather Service expects cloudy mild weather with a chance of showers tonight and a low mid 50s, with Wednesday highs in the mid to upper 60s and some showers possible.

The Cortes works on a constitution to replace Franco era charter and may not approve it until next year.
