Ford to sign 405 million refugee resettlement bill

President Ford plans to sign a 405 million dollar bill to resettle about 130000 South Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees, with nine relief groups to begin moving people from bases in California, Arkansas, and Florida to homes nationwide. The measure totals 405 million with a 507 million ceiling on authorization, and Congress sent the bill to the White House. Senate passage was 79 to 2 with only two objections.

Principal indicted for fraud in Ohio driver education case

J Paul Schlosser a junior high principal was indicted by a Hamilton County grand jury for falsifying driver education records at Mt. Healthy North Junior High School. He is charged with tampering government records in a contract driven program between Jan 1 and March 14 1975 and allegedly accepted back 1980 or 2530 from the state for 46 students who did not complete the program.
