Ross Parents Urge End to Week-Old School Strike
Several hundred parents met at Ross Middle School to press the Ross Board of Education and the Ross Education Association to resume talks. They signed scrolls urging both sides to sit down and resolve the dispute so students can return to class. Tim Wolfe of the REA cited no board response to a proposed withdrawal of federal litigation and noted a possible one year contract offer to three teachers. The board maintains no meeting until teachers return and treats reinstatement as a court matter.
