Ohio Democrats sold 100 a plate tickets via arm twisting
The Ohio Democratic Party touted large pre sold dinner ticket sales claiming over 3000 tickets for a 100 plate event aided by modern solicitation methods. Reports say pressure was used to dispose of tickets with departments and lobbying groups receiving large blocks and even Republican groups taking bulk offers. Secretary of State Ted Brown is noted for his ceramic hobby.
