Grandmothers Group Discusses Small Claims Court Aid
Louis Rossi told Smiling Grandmothers 740 at the University Branch of First National Bank that small claims handle under 150 dollars and relieve civil docket load while higher amounts go to other courts. He noted Middletown Municipal Court also includes traffic criminal and civil divisions plus a provisional department. Mrs. Peter Welch reported on the May 4 luncheon at the Sheraton Dayton. 240 Grandmothers from 42 clubs attended with two national officers speaking. The next regional meeting is Sept 7 at the Dayton YMCA. Mrs. Emmitt Perkins will host next month’s covered-dish dinner.
