Hamilton industrialist pushes plan to resettle Vietnamese refugees
Hamilton businessman Andrew Kornylak faces union and EEOC opposition as he seeks to resettle more than 57,000 Vietnamese refugees. He offered to pay two families’ resettlement costs and train the fathers, urging other employers to help despite fears of lawsuits and job competition for Americans. U.S. Rep. Thomas Kindness backs the effort and plans White House outreach to promote absorption.

Warren County workers denied reinstatement after appeal
Two former Warren County Sanitation and Water Department employees were denied reinstatement by the Ohio State Personnel Board of Review in a 2-1 vote. Skie Gilbert and James Wright were fired for using a county account for private auto parts and for misusing gasoline cards. The board noted testimonies about private car work and that the hearing witnesses refused to testify.
