Federal marshal shot by militant Indians at Wounded Knee
A U S marshal Lloyd Grimm 56 from Omaha Neb was shot at a roadblock near Wounded Knee and is in serious condition. He was treated at Pine Ridge then flown to Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center Aurora Colo. FBI and marshals held fire briefly after the attack as negotiations with AIM leaders continued.
