Court escapee waives hearing bound to grand jury
William Murphy 28 of Hamilton waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the Butler County grand jury on 10 charges. Held on 77,800 bond, Murphy escaped from a Hamilton courtroom last Thursday after a 425 year sentence for armed robbery and faces six kidnapping counts plus robbery and aggravated robbery and related charges. He was captured Friday at a house in Franklin after sentencing by Judge Robert L. Marrs. PUCO gives bus.
