Morristown florist Tom Trobaugh, 54, lit his briar pipe and heard a boom as a .22 shell exploded in the pipe. The bullet tore into the ceiling. he suspects it slipped from a jacket pocket. He plans no quit, noting the firecracker-like incident did not hurt the pipe or him.

Norman plans to return home to his wife and two children tomorrow, noting the hospital stay kept him out of Ohio winter weather.
