Pay board backs salary hikes for Ohio officials in 1973 plan
The pay board proposes Gov Gilligan rise from 40000 to 50000 and boosts for most elected officials by 15000. Attorney general, state auditor, treasurer and secretary of state would advance 25000 to 40000, lieutenant governor 17000 to 25000, and House speaker and Senate president pro tem from 18500 to 25000 while other clerks also see increases.
