Ohio Supreme Court bars lower judges from utility rate review
The court ruled unanimously that only the Ohio Supreme Court can review utility rate cases. It barred Judge George Kiroff of Toledo and Judge William Gillie of Columbus from handling Columbia Gas of Ohio pass through challenges. The decision affects future cases and follows a new state law.
