Fear of dogs kept girl at home in Long Beach
In Long Beach California a 16 year old girl Laura was imprisoned in an 8 by 10 foot bedroom for four years. Her stepsister Donna Marie Johnson 19 said three Great Danes kept Laura from escaping and that the children were beaten denied food and left to endure excrement. Laura weighed 63 pounds and was found by police after Donna told them of the abuse. The Johnsons adopted three children and were released on bond after one arrest.
