Diver survives 18 foot shark attack near Pt Conception
Robert Rebstock, 23, UC Santa Barbara student, was bitten while abalone diving with his brother and two roommates about 400 to 500 feet off Pt. Conception. The shark lifted him out of the water then dropped him. he suffered lacerations and puncture wounds and says it felt more like a mouthing than a chomp.

Lake County authorities hold two Cleveland brothers aged 14 and 10 in a high speed crash that killed 19 year old Rhonda Fonticella of Chesterland.
