Area Mothers Hope No News Is Good News

Two Lebanon area mothers of missing in action servicemen from 1967 and 1969 hold to hope that no news means their sons are alive. Esther Frederick and John E Conger Sr. spoke after receiving word that Maj William Frederick and Pfc John E Conger Jr. were not on early Hanoi lists. Msgr Connaughton of Franklin Dies at 62

The Rt Rev Msgr Edward A Connaughton pastor of St Mary Church Franklin died yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital Cincinnati after illness that began while saying Mass. He had served as Catholic schools administrator in Dayton and Cincinnati and was born in Hamilton. Survived by brother William and sisters Mary Ruth. Funeral arrangements incomplete.

Plane crash near Port Columbus injures two men
