Saigon SAIGON RP The last U S fighter-bomber group in Vietnam Marine Aircraft Group 12 with about 900 Marines is being air lifted from Bien Hoa to Iwakuni Japan. The unit rushed from Japan last May 17 and flew A4 Skyhawks providing close air support for South Vietnamese and Cambodian troops across the border.

Higher Farm Prices Push Food Costs Up in 1972
Government figures show a typical family spent $64 more on groceries in 1972, with farm prices adding $59 to the rise. The December market basket cost $1,338 annually, up 5.0 percent from 1971, while the farm value reached $551, and the middleman's share stood at $787. Beef prices rose to $1.14 per pound average, the highest since last August. The December farm value increased about 12 percent year over year.
