Rhodes Busy Fellow In Capital
Gov James A Rhodes and Ohio officials hustled in Washington to press for more Ohio jobs. He met Congress members and with Secretary Rusk and HEW chief Celebrezze, invited cabinet members to the June Governors Conference in Cleveland. Rhodes stressed bipartisanship and noted 40,000 new Ohio jobs in 1963. He did not discuss national politics and had no White House meeting with President Johnson.
