Doty House Week Celebrates 1968 Milestones in Middletown
The City Commission proclaims a Doty House Week during February 4 1968 to honor a decade of progress. Doty House, founded in 1958 by parents and citizens, has grown with community gifts enabling a new building named the Robert B Gardner Therapy Center and a new Pre Adult Activity Center at Maple Park School. The program helps physically and mentally handicapped individuals gain work experience toward self sufficiency.
